The Adelaide Convention Centre takes corporate social responsibility very seriously.
We act in the best interest of our clients, the community and the environment. We take responsibility for our actions, knowing they are fair and honest and will stand up to any scrutiny.
Since mid 2008 the Centre has been rewarded with several local and international awards in recognition of our efforts – not just for our environmental efforts but also for our overall care for the community.

VARIETY SA
Since 2001, the Adelaide Convention Centre has been a platinum sponsor of Variety SA the Children Charity. We are particularly involved with supporting the Annual Gala Dinner and Santa’s Fun Run. Learn more about this wonderful charity at www.variety.org.au/SA

Apprenticeships, traineeships and employment initiatives
The Adelaide Convention Centre offers opportunities for both young and mature residents, international students and new migrants to Australia to participate through a variety of sources.
Through Personnel Employment (Barkuma) we have trained and placed many individuals with significant learning disabilities in paid employment (as a result we have been nominated twice in three years for a Prime Minister's Award).

The Adelaide Convention Centre is the number 1 venue in Adelaide for events and meetings. The other major venues in capital cities around Australia try to match your level of service; they just cannot come close to it. The excellent level of service from all staff cannot be beaten. The Adelaide Convention Centre is one of our favourite venues for meetings and we recommend the venue to our clients.
